This is a typical dosing grinder suitable for
daily coffee usage at or below 3Kg.

In this range, look for:

1. Relatively low cost

2. Replaceable grinding burrs

3. Automatic grinding/filling of ground coffee dosing reservoir

4. Readily available parts and service

Note:  It is important that the sleeve (above left) and the threaded piece (above) be made of the same metal so that they expand and contract at the same rate when the grinder heats and cools in service.

Different expansion rates can cause the threads to slip causing maladjustment and great inconvenience when busy.
